Butterfly CLASS SKILLS
Academic skills covered in the Butterfly Class include: writes first name and last name in title case, writes and recognizes numbers 1-10 and uses 1-1 correspondence, shapes, patterning, identification of all upper and lowercase letters, cutting objects for projects, beginning to make letter-sound connections. Additionally, social-emotional and self-help skills will be taught in hands-on ways to support mental health, gain friendship skills, and foster independence. All these skills are taught throughout the day and incorporated in our monthly studies guided by student interest. |
