Indianola Preschool Community Open House

Indianola Preschool Community Open House is January 22, 2026, 6:00-7:00 pm. This is a great opportunity for new IPS families to tour our building, meet the teachers, and ask any questions. This isn't just for new families, though. The whole community is invited; whether you are an alumnus, current student, or supporter of quality early childhood education, we invite you to join us for a fun night at IPS!

Registration for 2026-2027 School Year

Remember the old days of waiting in line outside the preschool for hours in the freezing cold weather? We have simplified the registration process with online registration through Brightwheel. Check out the registration page for all the details on that process (I promise it is really simple!)

Family and School Partnerships in 2025

Family Feasts and Grandparents Day were both wonderful events we had just before winter break this school year. Thank you so much to our IPS families for spending time with us at preschool. Your commitment to our strong partnership is what makes our school truly unique. As always, thank you for your continuing support.

Indianola Philanthropic Grant- New Cubbies!

You may have heard we received the Warren County Philanthropic Grant for new cubbies at IPS last Spring. Mrs. Curl and Mrs. Hallam accepted the award in April.
We received the cubbies over the summer, thankfully fully assembled, and put them to use right away, but we knew the real test was coming this winter.
We are happy to report that they are AMAZING! Not only is there space for coats, snow pants, and backpacks, but also separate spots for boots and student artwork. Cubbies help students develop self-help skills and encourage them to care for and take responsibility for their belongings. We are grateful to have materials that support our goals and mission to provide a safe learning environment that helps students develop all the skills they need to be successful.
Thank you to our IPS families for fundraising the matching funds so that we could receive this grant, and thank you to Warren County Philanthropic Partnership for providing grants for our local nonprofits. They continue to support special projects like this one at Indianola Preschool year after year.

70th Birthday Party
It's our 70th Birthday this year and we are going to celebrate!

We're inviting all IPS alumni, teachers, board members and their families to join us for our Birthday Open House on May 4th 3:00-5:00pm. Come for snacks and a tour of the preschool.

If you have any photos or memories to share about Indianola Preschool, please send them to [email protected] so we can compile them to share at our birthday party.

We will also be holding a Ribbon Cutting with the Indianola Chamber of Commerce for our new outdoor space on May 2 at 10:00am.

GRINCH NIGHT 2024
THANK YOU for an incredible Grinch Night at IPS! We all had so much fun and enjoyed crafts, science experiments, sensory experiences, and more!
A huge thank you to Brickhouse Pizza for donating enough pizza to feed 50+ children and volunteers. Another big thank you to Fridley Theaters for donating popcorn for the event.
